Be one of the 1st 100 callers!!

Yes! I actually feel like I got a steal of a deal.  I was driving back to work after my lunch break when the radio started playing an add for Rosetta stone.

After the add they announced a special promotional price if you were one of the 1st 100 callers. I immediately picked up the phone and called and guess what?!? I made it! Rob from Rosetta Stone kindly answered all of my questions and offered me the 1st level of Spanish for $45. I am so excited to start working on #18 on my list - Learn Spanish!

Adios!

Phil is the MAN!

I love ARIZONA! Yup I said it, I love the people, the heat, the golf courses and the shopping. On Thursday, February 2nd My mom, my Aunt Donna, and I loaded up in a car and drove to Idaho Falls to catch our flight to sunny Mesa Arizona.

Just a couple of my favorite people!
After arriving we went to pick up the car I had rented on the internet. My Mom had another idea and before I knew it we had upgraded to a Ford Mustang Convertible. Mom stated that she wanted to test drive it just in case she decided to buy one in the future. :) (Funny how I ended up being the driver the whole trip.) After this we were off to grab a bite to eat and then meet up with my cousin Kenny.  Big thanks to Kenny and Tricia and family for letting us crash at their place for the weekend.

The next morning we were up early and on our way to the Phoenix Open. (If only I would have went to the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am this last weekend to watch Phil in action.) Even though he didn't play with Tiger at the Phoenix Open it was still a blast to watch him play. I have had the opportunity to watch most of my favorite golfers play but Phil was still on my list of players I had yet to watch in person. Who would have thought the experience would have been this great?

Mom immediately took it upon herself to get an autograph from as many players as she could.  Every time we turned around she had made friends with another security guard that was giving her tips on how to catch the different players.  This allowed us to catch the first glance of Phil that day. (This picture was taken right before my Mom's hand reached out and patted Phil on the back. After she turned to me and said "I am not sure why my hand just did that, but it touched Phil Mickelson.")

Now it was time to watch some golf.  We watched a few players come up #2 then we headed over to #14 and camped out for a little while.

Charles Howell III :)

The day flew by way too fast and before we knew it the sun was setting and the tournament was coming to an end but there was one problem....we didn't have Phil's autograph. After receiving several tips from my Mom's new found friends we found ourselves right next to the clubhouse where all of the players finished. After just a few minutes Phil Mickelson and Rickie Fowler were right in front of us joking around with my Mother. Well worth the 1 hour wait to get back to our car after the tournament. This is the hat with just a few signatures (Matt Kuchar, Phil Mickelson, and Rickie Fowler)

The next day we decided to drive around some of our old stomping grounds, it was a little hard to take it all in without Grandma or my Dad but we were able to remember some great stories. We made sure we made it to the Chandler Mall as well as one of our favorite stores...Trader Joes.

What a great trip! I hope to make it back there as soon as possible to see all of the family and friends we missed on this trip!

Now to cross of the first two on my list...
